The prop manufacturer send us the image of the prop: it is as expected. Great to see!
We are still not finished with this side project: did some work with Vizimag to simulate the magnetic field lines. Its always neat to see this effect. Coming week will further this with our electrical engineer. Also discussions with a new financier could assist in this.
Order Hobby King
We have made the order for the motors, ESC's, batteries, controller, etc.. it is underway! We will start with some testing asap the belt drive design is finished and tested in the programme on stresses.
Air space control
It is likely that if drones of larger and even smaller sizes really get into volumes that the systems should be guided by a virtual airspace control. Will soon discuss this with the authorities. It's quite a challenge and think that Google or other mapping companies should be conceiving this as a interesting challenge.
Legal issues in the Netherlands
As we plan to test the craft in the Netherlands first, we will acquire registration as a Ultralight as it could qualify as an ultra light ultralight! A lot of work to be done here. Interesting that the Dutch government also had been seeing positively on the autogyro PAL-v registration.
